Mason Football Semifinal Postponed Due to Severe Weather

MASON, TX — The Mason Punchers State Semifinal will be delayed one day due to possibly severe weather in Waco.

A cold front is expected to bring heavy rain and thunderstorms along the I-35 corridor tomorrow, the original date of the game. Since Waco is expected to see severe weather, the game was moved to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14.

The Punchers will play the San Augustine Wolves for the first time in school history, so with one extra day both teams will take it with preparation in mind.

This game is a high stakes game in which Mason will look to defeat the Wolves on their way to the state championship.
