Chiefs Best Fight Not Enough in Area Round Loss to Hirschi

The Chiefs were no match for Hirschi’s Daimarqua Foster. He led their offense with 280 yards rushing and five touchdowns.

After the Chiefs forced a turnover on the opening drive of the game, they couldn’t generate any offense and gave the ball back to the Huskies. Fred Fleeks capped off the subsequent drive with a 22-yard touchdown run.

Lake View responded on the very next play from scrimmage. Albert Rodriguez hit Johnny Espinosa downfield for a 67-yard touchdown pass. That woke the Huskies up.

Leaning on three rushing touchdowns from star running back Daimarqua Foster, Hirschi scored 20 unanswered points and flexed their muscle against the young Chiefs.

Lake View found the end zone after an eight-play, 76-yard drive that saw Rodriguez run for a 2-yard touchdown to make it 27-13.

Foster scored his fourth touchdown of the half to put Hirschi up 34-13 with 52 seconds left in the first half. That’s where the game took a serious turn.
