Two Vehicle Crash Rolls SUV Upside Down on U.S. 67 North as Thanksgiving Travel Season Begins

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A truck and a Jeep SUV were headed north on U.S. 67 out of San Angelo past Howard College when the driver of the SUV changed lanes causing a crash Tuesday night.

According to investigating San Angelo Police Offier McAndrews, the SUV driver moved from the left lane to the right lane and apparently didn't see the truck.

The SUV driver didn't see the truck and clipped the truck which then caused the SUV to lose control and and roll through the median into the southbound lane of traffic.

There were minor injuries.  No one was transported to the the hospital.  All the occupants were wearing seatbelts which contributed to the lack of serious injuries according to officer McAndrews.

The driver of the SUV was cited for making an unsafe lane change.
