SONORA, TX-- The Sonora Lady Broncos pulled level with Wall after a four-set win over Grape Creek at home on Saturday.
Sonora won 25-15, 25-11, 23-25 and 25-14 to improve their record to 21-14 overall and 8-1 in District 4-3A. The Lady Broncos have now won three-straight matches
Senior Mary Kyle Johnson was the lone Lady Bronco with double-digit kills with 14. Brae Harris, Jackilyn Sykes and Raeven Harris each had six kills each.
Sykes and Raeven Harris combined for 24 assists for that potent offense.
Sonora and Wall, who was idle on Saturday, split the season series and are even at 8-1 in District 4-3A.
If both Sonora and Wall win on Tuesday, the final day of the regular season, the two teams will play a tiebreaker game at a neutral site on Oct. 27 at 5 p.m.
Sonora travels to TLCA on Tuesday while Wall plays Reagan County.
