SAN ANGELO, TX-- Weather has once again forced a plethora of changes into area high school football games.
The most notable change is the game between Wall and Tuscola Jim Ned.
Instead of playing in Wall, the two teams will play at Angelo State University's LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Federal Credit Union Stadium. Kick off is still scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
TLCA and Cisco are set to square off in District 4-3A Division II this Friday.
The game was originally slated to be played at Lake View Stadium. However, heavy rains have soaked the grass field at the former home of Lake View football.
Instead, the two teams will play at Chesley Field in Cisco on Friday. Kick off is still scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
TLCA (1-5, 0-3) is currently at the bottom of the district standings while Cisco (5-0, 3-0) holds the top spot in the district.
Winters (5-2, 0-1) was slated to travel to no. 10-ranked Stamford (6-1, 1-0). That game will take place at Jim Ned High School.
Here is the list of games with definite changes:
- Tuscola Jim Ned vs Wall; Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Angelo State University
- TLCA vs Cisco; Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Cisco
- Winters vs Stamford; Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Tuscola Jim Ned
With heavy rain expected to continue across the Concho Valley, these may not be the only game that sees a location change.
We will update this story should there be any more changes.
