No Injuries as Tornado Tears Through Brady

Update Saturday 2 p.m.  Brady Fire/EMS Chief Lloyd Perrin said Saturday afternoon there were no injuries in the tropical storm Sergio spawned tornado that blew through Brady Saturday morning.

"We were lucky.  It was probably less than a quarter mile touchdown. Mostly wind.  The last known spot was in Rochelle, nobody was hurt.

There was some tree damage a couple vehicles were damaged and there was some roof damage. By flying debris.  No fire. We did have two poles that are being taken care of as we speak.

It came super quick.  We had no warning. We did activate the warning sirens.

Most of our low water crossings are still baracaded."
