SAN ANGELO, TX — A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after a Friday morning crash in San Angelo.
It happened at about 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Knickerbocker Road and South Jackson Street, San Angelo police said.
Police said a Toyota 4Runner was turning left out of a restaurant parking lot onto Knickerbocker Road in front of a motorcycle traveling east, causing the crash.
The motorcycle operator, who was wearing a helmet, was rushed to the hospital. No further details on the rider’s condition were immediately available.
Crash at Chickenbocker Sends One to Hospital
The intersection was expected to remain closed for an extended period while crews worked the scene, with traffic diverted, police said. The San Angelo Police Department issued a Nixle alert advising motorists to avoid the area.
The crash remains under investigation.
