Reagan County Held in Check Against Denver City

BIG LAKE, TX-- The Denver City Mustangs dominated the Reagan County Owls for a 49-6 win on Friday night.

The Owls could not get much going, being held to 135 total yards of offense.

Denver City scored on two of their first three drives to jump out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.

The Mustangs’ Mario Sanchez and Alexis Mendoza combined for 215 yards in the win.

Reagan County finally got on the board late in the second quarter with a 10-yard pass from Justin Chavez to Sebastian Sandoval. The extra point was no good.

Reagan County falls to 3-3 heading into their bout with Kermit next Friday.
