SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo area lakes picked up some much need rainfall during last week's flooding, but it wasn't much.
According to the city of San Angelo, San Angelo remains in Drought Level 1.
Our reservoirs captured about 1 month of water supply during last week's rains. That increased San Angelo's water supply from 23 months to 24.
Ivie Reservoir, our primary water source, remains 14% full. Twin Buttes is at 9% capacity, Fisher 6% and Nasworthy 83%.
Fortunately, the rains should negate the need to water lawns for at least two weeks ... and probably longer.
