BRECKENRIDGE, TX-- A judge levied an eight-year prison sentence on a Breckenridge man after he was convicted on federal weapons charges, KTXS reports.
Bryce Clair Clark, 31, was on the receiving end of that sentence.
Clark, a convicted felon who cannot be in possession of any firearm, had been stockpiling weapons at his home and workplace.
The Stephens County Sheriff's Office arrested Clark in August 2017 with the help of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
The two agencies collaborated to serve search warrants at both locations, per KTXS' report.
A sawed-off shotgun, an AK-47, a .22 rifle, and a revolver were found in a toolbox at Clark's workplace. They also found approximately 1,000 rounds of ammo in the toolbox, including six 30 round AK-47 magazines.
A .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol, a 9mm rifle, a .243 rifle, an AR-15 styled rifle and more ammo were seized by deputies in Clark's bedroom.
Court documents obtained by KTXS show Clark was indicted in Feburary before pleading guilty on March 24 and being sentenced on Aug. 24.
Sheriff Will Holt told KTXS he wanted to work with ATF "because people convicted in federal court serve at least 85-percent of their sentence."
The multi-agency seizure was meant to send the message that “every state and federal resource will be used to prevent the community from being exposed to such deviant behavior,” according to Holt.

PermalinkThe Dude wasn't supposed to have guns. It's that simple.
Try to quit shaking at the mention of scary guns and go back to the basement and cry at your Killary shrine.
No, she didn't win.
