Texas A&M Football Broadcasts Move to New Radio Station Group in the San Angelo Region

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Texas A&M Athletics and its multimedia rights holder, Learfield’s Texas A&M Ventures, announced today major changes to its radio affiliations within the San Angelo, Texas radio market, as well as across Western Central Texas and into the Texas Hill Country .

Beginning Sept. 8, fans of Texas A&M Sports will now be able to catch Aggie game action and related programming on for the first time KMLS 95.5 FM, and on KPEP 106.5 FM, KYKK 93.5 FM, KHOS 92.1 FM, and KYXX 94.3FM.

The multi-year agreements with Miriam Media, Inc., which owns KMLS, and TENN-VOL, Corp., which owns KPEP, KYKK, KHOS, and KYXX, means that Aggie Fans living in the greater Western Central Texas area around San Angelo, as well as most of the Texas Hill Country will now be able hear Aggie football games, men’s basketball games, coaches’ shows and select women’s basketball and baseball games on 95.5 FM from San Angelo to Ballinger, 106.5 FM from Eldorado to San Angelo, 93.5 FM from Junction to Mason, Eden, and Rocksprings, 92.1 FM Sonora, and 94.3 FM Ozona.

"Adding this group of stations as Aggie Sports radio affiliates provides us with the best possible exposure in the radio marketplace across all of Western Central Texas and into the Texas Hill Country."
