San Angelo Broadway Academy Performing The Lion King, Jr. This Weekend

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo Broadway Academy presents Disney’s The Lion King, Jr. at the Murphy Performance Hall July 27-29. The Disney classic is going to be a fun and exciting experience for all ages.

The stage adaptation of the Academy Award-winning 1994 film will be worth the $15 ticket price as San Angelo Broadway Academy Youth Theater bring the African Savanna to San Angelo.

The Lion King, Jr. is the story of a young lion cub named Simba. Born to a royal family, he idolizes his father, King of the Pride Lands, Mufasa. While his evil Uncle Scar plans to take over the thrown, tragedy strikes and Simba is left blaming himself. Simba runs away from responsibilities and makes two funny friends. When the weight of Simba’s responsibilities become too much, he returns to the Pride Lands to take his place as King.
