Preparations Underway for San Angelo Lion's Balloonfest

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Preparations are underway today for the San Angelo Lion's Balloonfest.

The hot air balloon competition takes place at the Glen Middle School field near San Angelo Stadium from 4 p.m. Friday til noon Sunday. 

Friday evening features a food court, vendors and the kids zone from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., tethered balloon rides beginning at 7 pm, a competition balloon flight at 7:15 p.m., the opening ceremony at 8:15 p.m. and a balloon glow at 8:30 p;m.

Events continue Saturday and Sunday.
