SAN ANGELO-- The Wall Hawks and Reagan County Owls held their spots at No. 5 and 25, respectively in the March 26 installment of the txhighschoolbaseball.com Class 3A rankings.
The Hawks (15-4-1, 2-0) are coming off a hard-fought 5-1 district win over Ballinger. The win kept the Hawks tied with TLCA (11-6, 2-0) atop the District 4-3A standings.
Reagan County (13-4, 1-1) was listed in a two-way tie for 25th for the second week in a row. The Owls beat Grape Creek 8-3 on Friday to put them in a two-way tie for third place with Ballinger (5-9-1, 1-1).
The Hawks and Owls will meet this Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Big Lake.
Also on the list, at No. 2, is the Central Heights Blue Devils who beat Wall in the 2017 State Championship. Brock (12-2-1), a familiar foe for Wall checked in at No. 3 this week as well. The third-ranked Eagles have not lost a game since March 3.
