Sisters From Clyde Identified in Friday Crash in Abilene; Funeral Arrangements Set

 

ABILENE, TX-- Abilene Police have identified the two sisters killed in the chain reaction crash in Abilene on Friday.

Melissa Grace Lindley, 14, and Starla Mae Joy Lindley, 11, of Clyde were killed when the minivan they were riding in was rear ended while trying to avoid a wreck that had shut down I-20.

The funeral for the sisters is set for Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of Christ on Austin St. in Clyde and the visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bailey-Howard Funeral Home in Clyde according to a report from KTXS

A memorial fund for the sisters has been set up by family members. At the time of publication, the gofundme page has raised $28,683 of the $30,000 goal.

Another memorial fund was set up by The Big Country Home Educators.
