Large Hail and Damaging Winds Threaten the Concho Valley Tonight

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Forecasters are calling for a 60 percent chance of rain in the Concho Valley tonight along with the possibility of hail.  

According to the National Weather Service, a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible tonight across West Central Texas, with large hail and damaging winds the main threats. Dangerous lightning and locally heavy rain could accompany some of the storms.

Locally heavy rain will be possible at times across southeastern parts of West Central Texas, from Tuesday night into Friday. This may result in a threat for localized flooding. Otherwise, the
threat for widespread hazardous weather is low.

There is a 40 to 50 percent chance of rain throughout the week.
