SAN ANGELO, TX — At the Million Dollar Quartet’s last concert in Huntington, Tennessee, “the crowd gave one standing ovation after another, and at the finale screamed for more,” this according to a member of the Geodesic Management Company for the Quartet.
The musical is a re-enactment.
The live musical is based upon the date, December 4, 1956, when soon-to-be legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins met and recorded for the first and only time. It was a jam session, and this musical brings it all to life, providing the audience a first-hand view of that momentous night.
You’ll hear rock hits including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Fever," "That's All Right," "Sixteen Tons," "Great Balls of Fire," "Walk the Line," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Who Do You Love?," "Matchbox," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Hound Dog" and more.
