WORCESTER, MASS.— Central’s star receiver has found his new home.
Henry Teeter, Central’s 6-foot-4 target, has committed to play football for Bob Chesney at NCAA Division 1 school Holy Cross.
The announcement on Teeter's Twitter came after his official visit to the private, Roman Catholic school in the northeast over the weekend.
Through Teeter’s three years in orange and blue he racked up 2,207 yards and 21 touchdowns receiving. In 2017, Teeter’s final year, he hauled in a school record 102 passes for 1,384 yards and 15 scores.
The Crusaders went 4-7 last season with a 3-3 record in the Patriot League finishing fourth in the conference.
The Patriot League in comprised of Bucknell, Colgate, Fordham, Georgetown, Lafayette, and Lehigh.
Teeter follows a northeastern path similar to former Central star Adam West who accepted a scholarship to Ivy League school Harvard last year.
National Signing Day is on Wednesday Feb. 7.
