The Concho Valley May See Snow

SAN ANGELO, TX-- The Concho Valley could be in for a white week.

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement that said snow is possible Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

The NWS also said the snow is likely to be more widespread to the west of a San Angelo to Sonora line.

The possible snowfall is the product of an arctic cold front that is coming through Monday night.

The cold front is expected to bring "strong" north winds with gusts of 40 mph, according to the NWS.

Accumulation of snow is possible but the NWS said it is too early to know the amounts at this time.

They also warn drivers of high profile vehicles to use "extreme caution" when driving, especially on east-west roadways.
