F-150 T-bones Volkswagen Sending Three Grape Creek Teens to Hospital Instead of School

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — An early morning crash at the intersection of Wren Rd. and March Rd. in Grape Creek sends three area residents to the hospital.  

According to Department of Public Safety trooper Jaron Yarbrough, a gray Volkswagen turned left in front of an oncoming black Ford F-150. The F-150 T-boned the Volkswagen in the passenger side trapping one passenger inside.  First responders used the jaws of life to get the passenger out.   

Yarbrough said the three occupants of the Volkswagen were transported to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance.  The trooper said the three were Grape Creek residents and were teenagers.  

The driver of the Volkswagen was cited for an unsafe turn.
