SAN ANGELO, TX — The Los Lonely Boys will perform a Hurricane Harvey Benefit concert at the San Angelo RiverStage Oct. 8. The gates open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m.
The general admission ticket price is just $10. All ticket proceeds, except the facility and service fees, will be donated to the Houston-based Robin’s Heart Foundation earmarked specifically for Hurricane Harvey relief.
Los Lonely Boys are San Angelo’s Garza brothers. The trio includes Henry Garza, the lead guitarist and vocalist; Ringo, vocals, and drums; and JoJo on bass and vocals.
Their sound is best described as “American Chicano power rock,” or as the Boys call it, “Texican Rock.” If you ever see them play, regardless of your music preferences, you will be amazed with Henry’s keen ability to wail on the blues with electric guitar. He’s a natural.
Their first single, “Heaven,” blasted into the Adult Contemporary charts, topping at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100, and #11 on the Top 40 chart. The song earned the Boys a Grammy in 2005 for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.

Since the first record, the self-titled “Los Lonely Boys,” was released in 2004, the trio has published four more. Their latest record is 2014’s “Revelation.”
Robin’s Heart is a charity organized under IRS code 501(c)(3) specifically for Hurricane Harvey relief in southeast Texas by musician Chamillionaire. Cham is a Houston native who most know for his 2005 hit song “Ridin’ Dirty.” Chamillionaire has strong ties with San Angelo, as he has performed here occasionally. He will be at the concert to represent Robin’s Heart, but will not be performing.
The concert is sponsored by All American Chevrolet of San Angelo and organized in cooperation with the City of San Angelo.
Los Lonely Boys are donating their time and talents to perform the concert. They are not charging their performance fee in order to maximize the impact of the money raised for Harvey relief.
Tickets are available at Stubwire. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. Tickets are also available at Blair's Western Wear.
