SAN ANGELO, TX — Titled “Harvey in Photos,” the New York Times photojournalists are chronicling the rescue efforts in Houston.
One picture caught the anguished expression of Sgt. Nicolas Carson of San Angelo. He is serving as a National Guardsman out of San Angelo, the Times stated. The photo was taken near Loop 610 in Houston. That freeway wraps around all four sides of Houston with downtown in the center.
Other photos depict the aftermath of the Cat 4 hurricane that hit Rockport Friday night. Since then, the now-tropical storm Harvey has dumped over two feet of rain on the metro area.
