John Gill Joins San Angelo LIVE! as its Outdoor Section Writer

SAN ANGELO, TX — John Gill, outdoors writer who has chronicled West Texas Outdoors for almost three decades, has joined the San Angelo Live team.

Gill has written print outdoors articles for the San Angelo Standard-Times, Abilene Reporter-News, San Antonio Express-News, Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Lone Star Outdoors News. He also writes for numerous Texas and national magazine publications.

“It has become apparent to me that readership habits have changed and are continuing down the path to a digital transfer of information. Being a journalism person, I’m naturally a news-junkie, but I don’t subscribe to all the print news that I once did. Neither do my children and grandkids. Electronic devices are their constant companions, often to my discern,” stated Gill.

Gill said he is looking forward to delivering current and factual information to all his past and future followers.
