Midland's Robert E. Lee High School can no longer Play 'Dixie'

 

Midland, TX -- The high school in Midland, Texas named for Confederate General Robert E. Lee has suspended the use of ‘Dixie’ in the school’s fight song.

According to reports from Midland, school superintendent Orlando Riddick supports the decision made by the band director to ban the song ‘Dixie’ from the Rebel’s playlist.
