SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Community Medical Center CEO Jeremy Riney resigned today effective September 12 to accept a position outside the San Angelo area.
According to information from SACMC Friday afternoon, Riney said, “It has been my honor to support the compassionate caregivers at SACMC the last three years,” said Riney. “Our hospital has grown in service to the San Angelo community and will continue to do so because of the dedication of our physicians and staff to quality and service.”
Richey Oliver, chairman of the SACMC board of trustees, said, “Jeremy leaves SACMC with a firm foundation and positioned for future momentum. We appreciate his contributions and are focused on finding a replacement with the right experience for our hospital and community.”
The search for Riney’s replacement is underway and will include input from the board of directors, medical staff and administration.
