Installation of New Traffic Lights to Slow Down Traffic Tomorrow

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- Motorists are expected to encounter lane closures and lane shifts at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Southland Boulevard tomorrow, Thursday, May 11, as the City of San Angelo and the Texas Department of Transportation replace a traffic signal pole at the intersection.

During construction, the intersection will be a four-way stop. The Police Department will also halt all traffic for a short time on Thursday when the mast arm of the traffic light is removed and installed.

No time has been determined for the full stop, but drivers are asked to use caution when driving in the area tomorrow.
