GCVFD Hosting Food Drive and BBQ Fundraiser This Saturday

 

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- The Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department (GCVFD) is hosting a canned food drive and brisket plate fundraiser this Saturday, May 13, 2017. 

Starting at 8 a.m., the volunteer fire department will be collecting canned foods and non perishable items for the local community food pantry. Beginning at 11 a.m. Barbeque plates will be sold for $10. The brisket will be smoked by The Pit BBQ of San Angelo. Baked goods will also be sold at the event. 

Funds raised during this Saturday's event will go towards sending firefighters to the annual Texas A&M Municipal Fire School Summer Training in College Station. 

The event will take place in the Grape Creek ISD administration building parking lot, located at the intersection of FM 2288 and US HWY 87.
