SAN ANGELO, TX - Last August, promoters from Creative Eventz brought The Beach Boys to San Angelo and the coliseum was almost sold out. As promised by promoters in an earlier article (click here), if that show fared well, there would be more to come.
Then, just a few weeks ago, the company brought us Country music star Travis Tritt by kicking off a 'Legends of Country Series' (click here), at the McNease Convention Center, which also had a great turnout.
Last Wednesday, February 1, promoter Joshua Haynes with Creative Eventz/West Texas Concerts, proudly announced, for the first time ever, the Emperors of Soul, the Temptations, will play the Foster Communications Coliseum, 50 E. 43rd Street, on Thursday, May 4.
Haynes said, "The Grammy winning music icons will perform timeless classic hits like "My Girl," "Just My Imagination," "The Way You Do The Things You Do," "Poppa Was A Rolling Stone," "Ain't too Proud to Beg," "Beauty is Only Skin Deep," "Since I Lost My Baby" and much more."
