San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo Tickets Go On Sale Monday, Jan. 9

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo season is right around the corner. Tickets will be going on sale over the phone or at the six authorized locations for the rodeo’s 12 performances.

These are the available locations:

  • McNease Convention Center – 501 Rio Concho Drive
    • Mondays-Fridays, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • Blair’s Western Wear – 4230 Sherwood Way
    • Mondays-Saturdays, 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
  • Pinkie’s Liquor Store – 1415 S. Bryant Blvd.
    • Mondays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Barbed Wire and Roses, Sunset Mall, 4001 Sunset Drive,
    • Mondays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
    • Sundays, noon-6 p.m.
  • Goodfellow Air Force Base, Event Center Information, Tickets & Tours Office,
    • Mondays-Fridays, 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
    • Saturdays, noon-9 p.m.
    • Sundays, noon-8 p.m.
  • Foster Communications Coliseum – 50 E. 43rd St.
    • Mondays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m

The Stock Show and Rodeo is one of the city’s most attended events and one of the competitions that host one of the largest number of competitors in the rodeo circuit.

The rodeo performances will include 11 performance that are sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association plus the Cinch Chute Out. The Chute Out will feature eight of the top performers in the saddle bronc, bareback, bull riding, calf roping and barrel racing competing in a tournament.

Infants and small children do not require tickets if they sit in an adult’s lap.

The carnival will also take place February 3-19. Super passes that will allows visitors to enjoy unlimited rides throughout the duration of the carnival.  These passes will go on sale for $90 and will only be available at the Coliseum box office until Feb. 4. Single day unlimited ride armbands will be on sale for $30.

Admission to the fairgrounds will be free with a rodeo ticket or a carnival super pass. The cost to enter will be $8 for adults and $5 for children 11 and under. Tickets for rides will be for sale inside the fairgrounds.

On Feb 15, which is Military Appreciation Night, anyone with an active or retires military ID can enter the carnival for free.

Looks like there is a typo. I could be wrong but I don't think its $58 dollars to enter the fairgrounds for adults. If that's the price I don't believe anyone will be going.
