Texas DPS Worked 21 Vehicle Accidents in the San Angelo Region This Morning, 6 More This Afternoon

 

Texas Department of Public Safety for the San Angelo sector has responded to 21 vehicle crashes Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, morning, according to DPS spokeman Shawn Baxter.

With temperatures in the area hovering approximately 10 degrees (F) below freezing and a continuous mist and sprikle throughout the west central Texas region, ice and hidden black ice on all roads and highways has had a negative imact on driving safety.

1:13 a.m. US 277 South of San Angelo

1:47 a.m. US 87 10 Miles North of San Angelo, Ambulance Crash

1:55 a.m. US 87 North of FM 2105

2:39 a.m. U S87 North of San Angelo

3:34 a.m. US 277 6 Miles N of Sonora 1 Vehicle Roll Over with Minor Injuries

5:12 a.m. US 87 North, Near Texas A&M Research Center 1 Vehicle Roll Over

6:13 a.m. US 277 15 Miles South of Sonora, 2 Vehicles with injuries

6:27 a.m. US 277 2 Miles North of Sonora, 2 Vehicles with injuries

6:41 a.m. US 277 15 Miles South of Sonora, 1 Vehicle Roll Over near Juno Highway Exit

6:51 a.m. I-1O Mile Marker 378 in the Center Median

7:59 a.m. I-10 In Roosevelt
