Elderly Man Found This Morning After Alert of Disappearance Went Out

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - San Angelo Police reported a missing elderly man early this morning, but shortly after the alert, officers found him safe in his vehicle.

At approximately 2:22 a.m., Sgt. Travis Griffith sent out an alert that James Bradley Spring was reported missing. He was believed to be driving a 2012 four door Toyota Yaris passenger car, and was last seen at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Mr James Spring suffers from dementia and other medical issues that affect his ability to function, said Sgt. Griffith.

SAPD was very concerned for Mr Spring's welfare and the detective assigned to the case asked for help with his whereabouts. 
 
At 5:03 a.m., Sgt. Griffith sent out a an alert that police found Mr. Spring.
 
"He was located around 0400 on 11/16/16 in his vehicle by Det. Hernandez on South Bryant, and they are getting him help," he said.
