New Watering Restriction to Take Effect November 1st

SAN ANGELO, TX – Taking immediate effect on Tuesday, November 1, watering restrictions will change to stay in compliance with the City’s drought ordinance.

As of Tuesday, residents will be restricted to watering their property once every seven days with no more than 1 inch per application. Residents are allowed to water their property at any time of the day on the day they choose to water. These new restrictions will remain in place until April 1, as per the currently set ordinance.

San Angelo, at this time, has approximately 35 months of available water supply. Therefore, this new change will allow the City to remain in standard conservation.

As a quick reminder, it is a violation to allow water to run more than 150 feet off one own's property down any street, gutter, alley or ditch.
