SAN ANGELO, TX- ASU’s Club Café coffeehouse entertainment series will present a performance by The Deans of College Comedy and special guest comedian on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the Houston Harte University Center, 1910 Rosemount Drive.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free for ASU students and will be $5 per person for the general public, according to an ASU press release.
Comedians Jay Black, Steve Hofstetter and Ronnie Jordan make up The Deans of College Comedy. Collectively, they have performed at over 2,500 schools and own several awards for their work on the college circuit. They will be joined on stage by guest comedian Sierra Katow.
Black has performed more than 500 college shows and was the 2013 Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA) College Performer of the Year. He has appeared on “The Kevin Nealon Show” and wrote and co-starred in the ION network original movie, “Meet My Valentine.”
Hofstetter has performed more than 1,000 college shows and has more than 15 million views on YouTube. He is the original columnist for collegehumor.com and is the host of the Fox TV show, “Laughs.”
Jordan has appeared at hundreds of college shows and once performed 102 college shows in 112 days. He has also made appearances in various comedy specials on HBO, BET and Showtime.
Katow was the youngest comedian featured on season 9 of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and has also been featured on “Last Call with Carson Daly” and seasons 1 and 2 of “Laughs” on Fox TV. This fall, she will be on the new MTV show, “Acting Out.”
