Abilene Road Rage Incident Leads to Man Getting Shot in the Arm

 

ABILENE, TX - Late Wednesday night in Taylor County, an Abilene man was shot during a road rage incident. 

Abilene Police officials said the victim was driving about 15 miles outside of Abilene when an unknown man began harassing him. Shots were fired, and the victim was struck in the arm. 

The victim drove to Abilene and called police at around 10:45 p.m. from his home at a south side apartment complex.

Officials said the victim's injuries were reported as non-life-threatening, and he went to the hospital via a private vehicle.

Police have not specified where the road rage incident took place, but indicated that the Taylor County Sheriffs Office will be handling the investigation since the incident occurred outside of the Abilene city limits.

Additionally, officials are not releasing information about the suspect or suspect vehicle at this time.
