On Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 downtown San Angelo will be the place to be!
Starting with the Lions Clubs of San Angelo Pancake Extravaganza Breakfast at 8 a.m. which will take place at the corner of S. Chadbourne and Concho Ave.
At 9 a.m. The Outdoor Family Day will begin with fishing and kayaking on The Concho River at the River Stage. At 11:00 a.m.
The Angelo State University Homecoming Parade takes place with the theme of “Roscoe’s Top 100” For parade entries please register at: http://www.angelo.edu/content/forms/857-parade-entry-form
Downtown San Angelo, Inc. will be hosting the Brews, Ewes and BBQ – a cook-off competition sanctioned by the International BBQ Cookers Association and a Home Brew Contest. These events will take place at the Downtown Stock Yards lot (112 E. Concho Ave.) and in the parking lot of Concho’s Downtown Restaurant (125 E. Concho Ave.).
Rockin’ The Ranch Concert will start at 4 p.m. between S. Chadbourne and S. Irving on Twohig. This event is a fundraiser for the benefit of the West Texas Boys Ranch.
