UPDATED Big Truck Knocks Out Big Lake Power

The Reagan County Sheriff's office has confirmed power outages throughout the city due to an electrical pole hit by a large truck on Highway 67 and Maryland Street on the main drag in Big Lake.

According to AEP North Community Affairs Manager Fred Hernandez, the collision with the pole "tripped off" around 1,224 customers. The outage was brief and power has been restored to the city.
