TGCSO Accepting Volunteer Applications for Crisis Intervention Unit

SAN ANGELO,TX - The Tom Green County Sheriff's Crisis Intervention Unit is accepting applications for volunteers in the fall training class.

Training is held on six consecutive Saturdays beginning September 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

TGCSO officials are requesting the help of compassionate and empathetic people. The unit responds to calls from law enforcement to assist with victims at crime scenes.

All volunteers must be 18 years of age and pass a background check.
