Two Late Sunday Afternoon Vehicle Accidents Keep San Angelo's First Responders Busy

Two San Angelo wrecks kept the San Angelo Police Department busy early Sunday evening with two accidents with minor injuries.

At 4:55 p.m. police answered a 911 call for an accident at N. Garfield and the westbound frontage road to the Houston-Harte Expressway. A blue Chrysler Sebring collided with a white GMC pickup. The Sebring was headed west on the frontage road and collided with the northbound GMC. There were no witnesses and police did not issue any citations. An occupant of the Sebring was transported by a friend to the hospital with minor injuries.

Just as Garfield was getting cleared, at 5:55 p.m., another 911 call came in about a two-vehicle accident at N. Bryant at 15th St. There, a red Chrysler 200 headed west on 15th St. met a Ram 1500 Pickup headed south. An occupant of the Chrysler 200 was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
