A collision involving a 2011 Ram pickup and a 2015 Kenworth Truck Tractor with a semi-trailer occurred on US Highway 277 and Orient Road, just north of the city, at 1:30 p.m.
Sgt. Justin Baker, with the Department of Public Safety (DPS), reported that the pickup was pulling out from Orient Rd. onto US 277. The driver was making a right turn heading north.
Baker said the driver of the pickup looked left, but failed to yield the right of way while turning onto the highway. The Kenworth truck was heading south on the highway. The Dodge Ram collided with the 18-wheeler, and struck its left rear tires.
Baker reported no injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Ram was given two citations for failure to yield right of way, and for not having motor vehicle insurance, Baker said.
The driver of the 18-wheeler is 27 years of age, and is from Eagle Pass, Baker said. The driver of the Ram is 38 years of age and from San Angelo.
