Drugs Arrests Remain High on Monday

Crime has been consistent for the past couple of days in San Angelo, with possession of drugs accounting once again for the majority of the arrests on Monday.

Of 27 inmates booked into Tom Green County Jail, five were arrested for possession of marijuana and an additional five for possession of another controlled substance.

Theft came in third with three incidents, followed by DWIs and assault, which each saw two inmates arrested.

There were 19 inmates released from the county jail on Monday.
