San Angelo Symphony Announces 2016 Concert Sponsors

The San Angelo Symphony is pleased to recognize Mrs. Elta Joyce McAfee and EJM Ranch as the 2016 title sponsor of its March 5th concert, A Tribute to John Williams, said a press release Tuesday. Mrs. McAfee is a long time supporter of the Symphony serving in numerous executive positions including President of the Board of Directors. Most recently, Mrs. McAfee demonstrated her love for West Texas and the performing arts serving as the major donor to the City Auditorium renovation project.

John Williams, whose career spans over five decades, has become one of America’s most accomplished and successful composers for film and on the concert stage. Concert sponsor, Mrs. McAfee shared that “over the years many movie scores have become classical music treasures for audiences of all types to enjoy. The selections chosen by Maestro Guzman are sure to delight concert goers of all ages.”

“It is an honor for San Angelo to play host to a Van Cliburn winner and the symphony orchestra is thrilled for the opportunity to perform along side Mr. Chen,” said Executive Director, Courtney Mahaffey.
