The San Angelo Civic Ballet will be hosting its 32nd annual performance of Nutcracker Dec. 18 through Dec. 20 at the Lake View High School Auditorium, 900 E. 43rd St. Limited tickets for the four performances are on sale and going fast, said a press release Monday.
Nutcracker has been a favorite San Angelo Christmas tradition for over 30 years, and this year the show will feature new choreography, some new characters and costumes. The San Angelo Civic Ballet encourages citizens to come out and let this show be a magical start to the holiday season.
Overall the Nutcracker performance has inspired many young audience members to become dancers over the years and serves to showcase San Angelo Civic Ballet students as they grow in age and skill level, taking on new and more challenging roles each year, stated the press release.
For people interested in seeing this year’s performance, tickets are $17 for students, children and military seniors general seating. Tickets for adult general seating and premium seating are $20 and $37. Tickets can be purchased at www.sanangelocivicballet.org, at the Ballet office at 15 W. Beauregard, or by contacting (325)653-8877 or [email protected].
