Healthy Families San Angelo will be hosting its first annual Driving for Diapers Golf Competition to benefit the young families in West Texas served by Healthy Families, said a press release Wednesday.
According to the press release, the event will take place at 2 p.m. on Nov. 21, 2015 at the Quicksand Golf Course, 2305 Pulliam St. The entry fee is a case of diapers (minimum 60) for the Long Drive competition, which includes six attempts. Golf balls are not included.
Healthy Families has been serving families in West Texas since 1992 and is the only program that provides family-centered father-inclusive programs that focus on building strong families. The agency provides direct one-on-one support to young families to help change the odds for those families and empower them to reach their goals; maternal ages range from 14-20.
