Imagine the Possibilities Tour to Showcase Historic Downtown San Angelo Properties

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A behind-the-scenes casual walking tour of some of downtown San Angelo’s most intriguing spaces will take place Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m. as part of the Imagine the Possibilities Tour. The event begins at 12 E. Twohig Ave. and is free and open to the public.

Organized by Downtown San Angelo, Inc. and the Texas Main Street Program, the tour will highlight vacant or underutilized properties in the city’s historic downtown. Stops will include 13 E. Twohig Ave., 113 S. Chadbourne St., and 109 S. Chadbourne St.

Monica Ramos, executive director of Downtown San Angelo, Inc., will open the event with a presentation on downtown statistics and redevelopment opportunities for potential investors, entrepreneurs, and community members interested in repurposing historic spaces.

The Imagine the Possibilities Tour is designed to showcase available commercial properties, promote investment, and spark ideas for new business ventures in San Angelo’s downtown district.

"Wear comfortable shoes, bring your curiosity, and come imagine the possibilities with us," information states. 

The Texas Main Street Program, part of the Texas Historical Commission, supports downtown revitalization efforts in more than 90 Texas communities. Downtown San Angelo, Inc. is a nonprofit focused on preserving and promoting the city’s historic core through partnerships, events, and business support.
