Concho Valley PAWS Offers 'Neuter Your Ex' Fundraiser

SAN ANGELO, TX - Concho Valley PAWS has launched a fundraising campaign called “Neuter Your Ex,” giving donors the chance to name a cat after a former partner while helping reduce the feral cat population.

For a $25 donation, the shelter will name a cat after the donor’s ex and include the animal in its Trap-Neuter-Release program, which sterilizes cats before returning them to their colonies. Funds raised go toward PAWS’ SNIP program, which provides free or low-cost sterilization services.

In a Facebook post, the nonprofit said its first round of cats has already been spayed and neutered, and more names are being added. Donors remain anonymous, and the campaign is ongoing at cvpaws.org/neuter-ex.
