30 Days Left to Apply for FEMA Assistance

SAN ANGELO, TX — Homeowners, renters and students affected by the July flooding in Central Texas have until Thursday, Sept. 4 to apply for FEMA assistance.

Federal officials issued a public service announcement Thursday reminding residents there are 30 days remaining to submit applications for disaster relief.

Applicants can visit disasterassistance.gov or call 800-621-3362 (800-621-FEMA) to apply. Multilingual operators are available, and those using relay services may provide FEMA with the appropriate number.

Disaster recovery assistance is available regardless of race, color, religion, nationality, sex, age, disability, English proficiency or economic status.
