Dining in the Dark Blindness Simulation Dinner

SAN ANTONIO, TX — On Tuesday, February 13, from 6 to 9 p.m., Vibrant Works will host its annual event, Dining in the Dark, at the Witte Museum.

Dining in the Dark offers participants an immersive experience simulating visual impairment through various sensory activities conducted under blindfolds. The event promises blindfolded wine and bourbon tastings, hor d'oeuvres, and a three-course meal. Attendees will also have the opportunity to engage with interactive assistive technology, showcasing innovative tools designed to aid individuals who are blind or vision impaired.

Established in 1933, Vibrant Works, formerly known as San Antonio Lighthouse, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with vision loss. Recognized as one of the largest employers of people with vision loss in the United States, the organization continues its mission of empowerment.
