13-year-old Texan Arrested for Murder; 10-year-old for Burglary

 

BEAUMONT, TX – A teenager in East Texas was arrested on Thursday morning for a murder that took place back in March.

According to the Beaumont Police Department, on Thursday, Apr. 21, 2022 at 8:00 a.m., Beaumont Police Patrol, SWAT, Narcotics, Special Assignment Unit and Criminal Investigations Detectives, executed a search warrant as well as multiple arrest warrants at a residence in the 700 block of Goliad.

Marina Rebollar, a 36-year-old Beaumont resident was arrested on a warrant for Burglary.

A 13-year-old male was arrested on a warrant for Burglary and Murder. The murder warrant stems from the March 12, 2022 homicide of Juan Salazar.

A 10-year-old male was also arrested on a warrant for Burglary.

The warrants stem from multiple active investigations, therefore details are limited at this time. The Beaumont Police Department is working with the Lumberton Police Department and Texas Rangers.

The investigations are on-going and additional charges and arrests are expected.
