Woman Pepper Sprays Girlfriend During Jealous Rage

 

SAN ANTONIO, TX –– A 33-year-old homeless San Antonio woman is in police custody after threatening her girlfriend.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, back in November of last year, Pearl Gonzales became jealous after accusing her girlfriend of calling someone else when she stated she was calling a family member for a place to say.

During the argument, Gonzaled brandished a hatchet and broke the victim's phone. Then she allegedly pepper-sprayed the victim as she tried to walk away and then chased her with a hatchet.

When the victim reached a nearby store she contacted police –– prompting Gonzales to flee the scene.

Gonzales has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
