Teen Girl Viciously Gunned Down in Drive-by Shooting While Walking Her Dog

 

HOUSTON, TX –– A 15-year-old Houston girl is dead after a late-night drive-by shooting in southwest Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, on Tuesday around 9:30 p.m Diamond Alvarez was walking her dog when gunshots ran out.

Residents of the area told investigators they heard multiple gunshots.

Alvarez's family became worried when the dog returned home alone. After Alvarez failed to answer the phone multiple times her family began to search for the teen.

Her family would ultimately find her dead –– lying on the side of the road of a community park.

While the exact number of gunshots wounds has not been confirmed by police, the Alvarez family told local media outlets she was shot 22 times in the back.

The preliminary investigation suggests the shooting was a result of a drive-by shooting.
